Swagman Paramount Full-Size Trucks Tailgate Pad Review - 2022 Ram 2500- Video
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman Paramount Tailgate Pad on the back of our 2022 Ram 2500. If you have a multitude of bikes and you're looking to transport them to a location but you don't wanna keep them in the bed where they'll roll around, scratch themselves in the bed and you maybe are already towing something or you just don't feel like the added length of a bike rack that can support that many bikes, a pad like this might be a good option for you. This Swagman Paramount Pad is actually capable of supporting up to seven bikes along the way, held in place by these hook and loop straps. To get our bike loaded up, first thing we need to do is open one of these straps up and have it ready. I will say for the Ram 2500, it is definitely a taller vehicle, so getting the bike on and off might be a challenge for you. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Tailwhip tailgate pad on the back of our 2022 Ram 2500. A tailgate pad like this might be useful for you if you have something in your hitch already or you just don't want the added length that a hitch bike rack adds. Additionally, you can obviously always store your bikes just in the bed of your truck, but they're gonna be prone to rolling around damaging not only themselves but also your bed. So this is a good in-between option that's going to protect your bed and keep your bike stable while you're driving. It's gonna hold onto our bike just by these hook and loops straps on the actual pad itself. more

And this is a great way to get our bikes to our favorite destination while just utilizing our truck bed. Maybe we have a trailer that we're towing, or we have a bike that we don't want bouncing around in the back, this secures to our tailgate, and then holds our bike in place so we're not having to worry about it getting jostled back there.To load up our bikes, it's a very simple process. John: Hey guys. John here from eTailer.com. Today on our 2019 Ram 2500, we are test-fitting our Thule GateMate Pro. This is a 53-inch wide pad and it helps us transport our bikes using our truck bed while also protecting our tailgate here. The GateMate Pro is a great option for if we have a toolbox in the front of our truck bed and we can't fit our entire bike, width-wise in the bed or perhaps, we don't want our bikes to just be bounced around in our truck bed. We at least have some security back here. more

Thule Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2017 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2017 RAM 2500 we're doing a test fit of the Thule Insta-Gater Truck Bed Single Bike Rack. That part number is TH501. Now we already have this installed with our bike attached. I'm going to jump up into our truck bed and show you how we secure it down. To actually hold our bike in place we have a wheel hook which is going to actually sit in the back of our wheel. That's going to push our front part of our tire up against our tailgate. more

Today on our 2017 Ram 2500, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack. This is for full-sized trucks, part number TH824. This is going to measure 62" wide. We already have it draped over our tailgate. We just took the back and set it over the top. We're going to show you how we tighten this down. We've got three straps in front with three buckles in the back that we're going to attach them to. more

Today on our 2016 Ram 2500, we're doing a test-fit of the Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack. This one is for full-sized trucks. Part number TH824. It is also 62 inches in width. We have it thrown on our vehicle here. It's just going to drape over the top there, and to install it, we're going to take each of our straps and we're going to feed it up underneath our tailgate. It just feeds up underneath here between the tailgate and the truck bed. more

Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack Review - 2014 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 2500, well be test fitting the Thule Gate Mate tailgate pad and bike rack for full size trucks, part number TH824. Well begin our test fit by first draping the gate mate over the truck bed tailgate. Youre going to make sure that the opening with the envelope shaped flap is facing the outside. This flap will give you access to the tailgate handle. Once thats down, we can then take one of the straps and lower the tailgate down to about a 45 degree angle. Well thread the strap up through the bottom of the tailgate and the base of the truck bed. Well then reach around to the inside of the truck bed and pull the strap up. more

Swagman Pick-Up Truck Bed Bike Rack Review - 2014 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 2500, we'll be test fitting the Swagman Pickup Truck Bed Mounted Two Bike Rack, part number S64702. We'll begin our test fit by placing one end of the bike rack onto the drivers side bed rail, just to give us an idea of how wide we need to make the bike rack. Now the other end of the bike rack doesn't reach the passenger side bed rail, so we'll need to push in the silver button and telescope the bike rack outward. You'll need it make it a little bit wider than the width of the bed. With the one end of the bike rack on the drivers side, we'll take the other end at the passenger side and insert the other end at an angle on the passenger side bed rail. We'll then push the pad up onto the bed rail making sure the bike rack is perpendicular to the bed rails of our pickup. Now that's nice and snug, we're ready to load up our bike. We'll need to double check to make our skewer is loose and the forks of our bike can slide down onto it. more
